Ann Elizabeth Shearburn passed away on March 6, 2022 at Green Gardens in Sullivan, Illinois.

Ann was born on September 19, 1924 in Richmond, Virginia. She was married to her husband of 61 years Arthur L. Shearburn on February 16, 1952.  Ann enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. She also devoted much of her time and energy to the United Methodist Church both in Walnut and in Wheaton, Illinois.

Ann is survived by her sons Kirk (Linda ) Shearburn of Camarillo, Ca. and Mark (Carol) Shearburn of Arthur, Illinois. Aside from her children she is also survived by one granddaughter Hannah T. Shearburn of Peoria, Illinois. Ann spent her recent few remaining years in the caring and loving environment of her Green Gardens family in Sullivan, Illinois. 

She was preceded  in death by her parents William Reid and Nellie Reid, her husband Arthur L. Shearburn, a son Greg Shearburn, one brother William Reid Jr. and one sister Shirley Hooper.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will conclude at Walnut Cemetery.
