Anna R. Olson

 Anna R. Olson, 95 formerly of Tampico, died Monday, January 30, 2017 at Liberty Village in Princeton.

Anna was born on March 17, 1921 in Port Byron, Ill., the daughter of August and Mary (Hicks) VanHoe. She married Russell E. Olson on November 21, 1942 at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Prophetstown, Ill. He preceded her in death on October 5, 2005. Anna is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tampico.

Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Karen (John) Klinger of Belvidere, Ill.; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and two step grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Loren and Ronald Olson; one sister and two brothers.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 9:00-10:00 A.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tampico. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 A.M. at the church with Reverend Richard Russo, Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Tampico.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church or Diabetic Foundation.
