Barbara (Headings) Hostetler

     Barbara (Headings) Hostetler of Tampico, IL, wife of late husband Wayne Hostetler, was born to Samuel and Lena on Dec.29, 1936 at Middlebury, IN.

       She peacefully passed away at her home with loved ones near on June 3, 2024 at the age of 87 years.

     On September 4, 1955 she was united in marriage to Wayne Hostetler, son of Herman and Laura (Unzicker) Hostetler, sharing the joys and sorrows of life together for over 65 years. This union was blessed with 5 sons and 5 daughters.  Edwin and wife Eileen of Hotchkiss, CO, Rose and husband Myron of Hotchkiss, CO, Twila of Tampico, IL, Aldine and wife Clarene of Bellevue, IA, Marlene and husband Cecil of Delta , CO, Omar and wife Bonnie of Quinton, OK, Rhonda and husband Troy of Olathe, CO, Nelson and wife Lynette of Tampico, IL, Steven and wife Marsha of Montrose, CO, Charlotte and husband Chad of Delta, CO. Also surviving are seven siblings, Juanita, and husband Leroy of Harmon, IL, Stanley, and wife Alta of Tampico, IL, Ezra, and late Madie of Jay, OK, Elva, and husband Paul of Tampico, IL, Harold, and wife Esther of Humboldt, IL, Edward of Tampico, IL, Roy and wife Elizabeth of Tampico, IL.

     The visitation will be at the Fairfield A.M. School on June 7, Friday afternoon 2-4 and 6-8 and the funeral June 8, Saturday morning at 10:00 at the church.
