Cecilia "CC" Thompson

Cecilia “CC” M. Thompson, 57 died Tuesday May 20, 2025 at her home.

She was born in Sterling and by raised by her aunt B and grandma Janssen. On December 1, 1984 she married her high school sweet heart Mike Thompson. She and Mike settled on a farm in rural Harmon. She had served as past president of the Harmon Community Building board and president of the Harmon Fire Auxiliary. Together they raised three sons: Clayton (Michelle) Thompson, James (Audry) Thompson and Mike (Lexie) Thompson; and accepted with love and joy fifteen grandchildren: Kenna, Damion, Ally, Molly, Caden, Aedan, Mackynzie, Reese, Olivia, Jameson, Heath, Mykah, Kennedi, Joseph and Colt; and two great grandchildren: Everlea and Delilah.

CC had a heart of gold, and would help or give anything in aide of another. She took great joy in running her own business, Ma and Pa’s Memory Cement Statuary.

Almost of her customers became her friends.   May God have a special place for her.

She was preceded in death by her brother Curt Willis; her aunt B and grandmother J; 3 brother in laws; 1 nephew and 2 great nephews.

Visitation will be Friday May 23, 2025 from 5-7 PM at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut. The funeral will follow on Saturday at 10 AM. Burial will conclude at Walnut Cemetery.
