Cheryl Evonne Norden, 91, of Ohio, died on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Manor Court of Princeton. Cheryl was born on April 14, 1931, in Princeton, the daughter of Charles and Clella Johnson. She married Jerry Norden on March 31, 1951. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2022, following 71 years of marriage. Cheryl was a member of First Lutheran Church in Ohio. She worked as a librarian at Ohio Public Library for many years. Cheryl enjoyed sewing, reading, and meeting with her weekly coffee group. Cheryl and Jerry enjoyed many trips to Branson, MO together over the years. Most of all, Cheryl loved watching her grandchildren grow into what they are today.

Survivors include her children, Wayne (Joni Weir) Norden of Houston, TX, Sharon (Jim) Schnaiter of Princeton, Sue (Mike) Chakos of Chicago, and William (Karla) Norden of Walnut; one sister, Patsy Johnson of Ohio, sister-in-law, Alice (Bob)  Norden Semlow of Issaquah, WA; nine grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother, Donald Johnson.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be held from 9:30am-11:00am on Saturday, February 11, 2022 at First Lutheran Church in Ohio. Memorial service will follow at 11:00am. Interment will conclude at Union Cemetery.
