Colton Andrew Teske, age 37 of Wyanet, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

Colton was born on August 25, 1988 in Princeton, the son of Ronald and Shelly (Hassler) Teske. He graduated from Bureau Valley High School in 2007 and then from Blackhawk East Community College earning his Associates Degree. He was employed by Heritage Tractor for over 15 years. Colton had one daughter Ellie Drew who he loved with everything. He loved to take her for rides to see animals or anything she wanted. She was his heart and soul. He loved his M tractor-whether he was taking it out for a ride or to a pull, relaxing on Sundays, and his three legged cat. Colton enjoyed every minute aggravating his brothers and overall, he just enjoyed life. 

Survivors include his parents, Ron and Shelly of Wyanet; his daughter, Ellie Drew; two brothers, Aaron (Brittany) Teske of Jamestown, TN and Brandon (Lauren Eckberg) Teske; his close cousin, Eric Behrens; nieces, Skyler, Lily, and Emery; aunts and uncles, Bill and Sharon Bickett, Charles Hassler, Randy and Linda Teske; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 12, 2026 from 2:00-5:00 PM at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut. Private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be set up for his daughter, Ellie.
