Darla P. Piper Darla P. Piper, age 74, of Franklin Grove, died Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Franklin Grove Living and Rehabilitation Center. Darla was born August 13, 1942 in Sublette the daughter of Cecil and Pearl (Blaine) Piper. She was a homemaker. Survivors include one daughter, Sally Piper; one sister, Carolyn Howell; and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 10 - 11 AM at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Reverend Barb Otten of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Amboy officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Cemetery.
