Diane L. Miller, 55 of Lamoille, died Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Aperion Care of Princeton.
Diane was born on March 26, 1966 in Sterling, the daughter of Everett and Peggy (Burgess) Sarver. She married Lawrence Miller on December 8, 2016 in Princeton. Diane worked as a phlebotomist at OSF St. Clare Medical Center (formerly Perry Memorial) in Princeton for 30 years. She also worked at Walnut Manor Nursing Home, Walnut grocery store, and Peerless Level in Walnut. She was a former member of the Walnut Fire Department, a past member and past worthy matron of the Wyanet Order of the Eastern Star, a member and past worthy matron of Chillicothe Order of the Eastern Star, and a past chairman of Chad Sarver Car Show in Walnut. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Miller; her father, Everett Lee Sarver of Walnut; step daughters, Tess (Aaron) Manicki of Aurora, IL and Brianna (Teresa) Miller of Lansing, MI; step son, Dalton Cheshier of Paduka, KY; grandson, Kallen Manicki of Aurora; brother, Michael Sarver of Walnut; sister-in-law, Christina (Mark) Anderson of Yorkville, IL; niece and nephew Kelly and Jack Anderson of Yorkville, IL; aunts, Deb (Mike) Andrews of Walnut, Vicki Benson of Columbia, TN, and Linda Elmore of Sweetwater, TN; and uncle, Gary (Nancy) Sarver of Walnut.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Sue Sarver; one brother, Chad Sarver; and one aunt, Sue Maynard.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 2:00-6:00 P.M. at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut. An Order of the Eastern Star service from Chillicothe will be held at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Private burial will take place in Walnut Cemetery.
