Donna K. Clevenger

Donna K. Clevenger, age 81, of Walnut, died Saturday, November 29, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

          Donna was born August 24, 1944 in Amboy, IL, the daughter of Ralph and Evelyn (Conderman) Full.  She married Herman “Tex” Clevenger on August 17, 1963 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Maytown.  Donna was a member of St. John the Evangelist’s Catholic Church in Walnut.  She was passionate about horses and also enjoyed reading, writing letters, cooking/baking, spending time with her family, and visiting friends.

          She is survived by her husband, Herman “Tex” Clevenger of Walnut; three children, Denise (Angel) Hinojosa of La Vernia, TX, Betty (Mark) Graves of Bradford, IL, and Joe (Maricela) Clevenger of Washington, IL; one sister, Jackie Full of Dixon, IL; two brothers, Darrell (Sharon) Full of LaMoille, IL and Randy (Laurie) Full of Harmon, IL; five grandchildren, AnnaLena (Colin) Ramirez, Andrea Hinojosa, Beth (Daniel) Elmore, Anthony Clevenger, and Alexandra Clevenger; seven great grandchildren, Nicolas, Noah, Nazareth, Ameliana, Caleb, Everly, and Yaretzi; and several nieces and nephews.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Connie Full; and one brother, Leon Full.

          Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut.  The visitation will follow from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.  Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evanelist’s Catholic Church in Walnut with Reverend Thomas Shaw officiating.  Burial will be at 1:00 PM at St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Maytown.

          A memorial has been established to the Walnut Fire Department.
