Donna J (Roberts) Edens

WALNUT – Donna J. Edens, age 65, died at home on Monday, April 1, 2024.

            Donna was born on June 28, 1958 in Kewanee the daughter of Henry and Georgia (Clark) Roberts.  She married David Edens on January 21, 1977 in Kewanee.  Donna was employed for 28 years with the Royal Oaks Nursing Home retiring in 2022. She loved family more than anything. Loved the time spent together. She liked the outdoors and reading.

            Survivors include her husband David of Kewanee; two daughters, Georgia (Alan) O’Toole of Walnut and Sherry (Billy Williams) Edens of Kewanee; one son, David (Andria) Edens of Kewanee. 5 sisters, Linda (David) Poppen Penny (Mike) Hutchinson Colleen (David) Reese all of Phoenix Arizona Katherine Bergland Polly (David) Moore and 1 brother Russell (Melissa) Roberts all of Kewanee. 8 grandchildren BreeAnna David Brett Abigail Dean Trenton Kurt and Alena and 4 great-grandchildren. Many nieces nephews and cousins.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Dean Edens; one sister Patricia Harland and 1brother Henry(Hank) Roberts.

            Cremation rites have been accorded.  Celebration of Life will take place at the Elks lodge 113 N. Tremont Kewanee Il 61443 on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 1:00-4:00 pm Arrangements were completed by the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut.
