Duane F. Gebhart

          Duane F. Gebhart, 58, of Princeton, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in Wisconsin.

          Duane was born May 26, 1963 in Missouri the son of Gene and Nellie (Ranner) Gebhart.  He served in the US Army in the 82nd Airborne and 7th Special Forces Group.  Duane spent most of his career as an Owner Operator, Truck Driver. He enjoyed his Saturday morning breakfasts with his car buddies and judging car shows.  He was especially looking forward to becoming a grandfather.

          Survivors include five children, Cory Gebhart of MI Nicholas Gebhart of Ft. Bliss, TX Garrett (Leah Hanson) Gebhart of Princeton, Heather (Trevor Jenkins) Gebhart of Tiskilwa and Hannah Gebhart of Malden; and one sister, Saranel (Mike) Cantwell of Bradford.

          He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Eric Gebhart.

          A gathering of family and friends, for a maximum of 50 people at a time, will be Friday, May 28, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut.  A graveside service with military honors will be Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Elm Lawn Memorial Park in Princeton.

          A memorial has been established.
