Elizabeth c. Shirley

Elizabeth C. Shirley, 87 of Walnut, died Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Heritage Health in Walnut.

Liz was born on September 13, 1933 in Pekin, the daughter of Harry and Opal Irene (Taylor) Jones. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years and truly loved her job and helping people.

Survivors include her son, Don (Dixie) Francis of Walnut; her daughter, Tammy (Mike) Howlett of Walnut; six grandchildren, Michelle (Mike) Dykstra, Jeremy (Michelle) Brandon, Melissa Brandon, Rita Francis, Donovan Francis and Cody (Erin) Hill; thirteen great grandchildren and seven great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Pam Huseman and Rebecca Francis and one brother, Wayne Jones.

Cremation rites have been accorded with the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut.
