Evelyn Suzanne Kresal, age 91, of Princeton, IL and formerly of Racine, WI, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Heritage Manor to join her late husband, William, for their 70th wedding anniversary. Evelyn was born in Milwaukee on July 13, 1924. She was raised in Racine by her loving parents, George and Helen Hazelton. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, William F. Kresal, on April 6, 1946 at Grace Baptist Church. She went on to raise her three children, Suzanne (Terrence) Cortez, William Jr. (Patsy Jo) and Linda Kloc in Racine before moving to Schaumburg, IL. While living in Schaumburg she became the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren. Evelyn along with her husband retired to the small town of Princeton, IL. There she celebrated her 50th anniversary with her husband, William. She also welcomed two grandchildren, 24 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Joseph Miller. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband William, son-in-law Thomas Kloc, grandson Dereck Cortez and great- granddaughter Adrianna Cortez. Mom you will be missed dearly by us all. You were our sunshine our only sunshine, you made us happy when skies were grey, you'll never know dear how much we loved you, please don't take our sunshine away. You will always be our sunshine in our hearts. We would also like to thank her family at the Heritage Manor for their love, compassion and tender care.
