Gary L. Fritsch, 84 of Tampico, died Saturday, December 17, 2022.

Gary was born on March 9, 1938, the son of Cecil and Maime (Hollis) Fritsch. He married Patty L. Tornow of August 19, 1956. She preceded him in death on August 27, 2013. Gary was the owner and operator of Fritsch Home Heating for 30 years. He was a past member of the Tampico Fire Department. Gary loved his family and the time he spent with them. He was quick witted and will be remembered for his jovial personality.

Survivors include his two sons, Tommy L. (Melodie) Fritsch and Rodney A. (Ronda) Fritsch; three grandchildren, Traci L. (Ben) Sandrock and Terra L. (Allen Joe) Wittenauer, and Emily N. Fritsch; five great grandchildren, Breanna (Caleb), Ethan, Sean, Connor, and Erica; one great great grandchild, Adalynn; and two step great great grandchildren, Jacqueline and Andrew.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; one son, Corey D. Fritsch; two brothers; and two sisters.

Cremation rites have been accorded with the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico. A graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
