Gary F. Guenther

 Gary Francis Guenther, age 73, of Walnut, Illinois died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at his home.

Gary was born on December 10, 1941 in Waverly, MO the son of Francis and Ruth (Longenecker) Guenther. He served in the United States Marines.  He was a lifelong farmer in Texas and Colorado and former member of the American Legion in Colorado.  Gary loved playing bass guitar.

He is survived by one son Gary "Ed" (Stephanie) Guenther of Walnut; three grandchildren Allison, Ashley, and Allen ; one brother Garland " Corky"  (Judy) of Houston, TX; four sisters Elaine (Jim) Newsome  of Palestine, TX, Carole (Ken) Hotcaveg of  Valdosta, GA, Susie (Joe) Mathews Weslaco, TX, Barbara Moore of  Bryan, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation rites were accorded.  There will be no local services.  Arrangements were completed by Garland Funeral Home in Walnut.
