Obituary
Harry Lucas, 75, of Princeton, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Rock River Hospice Home in Sterling. Harry was born on February 23, 1948, in Spring Valley, the son of Henry and Marion (Tolan) Lucas. He married Diane Ewing on October 21, 2011, in Princeton. She preceded him in death in 2021. Harry was a 35-year member of the Carpenter’s Union Local #195. He enjoyed his sports cars and motorcycles, and attending car shows. Harry was a jokester, and loved to make people laugh.
Survivors include one daughter, Ann Repsel; one sister, Caroline (Gail Zimmerman) Perryman; three nephews, Darrell and Ronald Lucas, and Aaron Perryman; and one niece, Richelle Owen.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Diane; twin brother, Harold Lucas; and brother, Earl Lucas.
Cremation rites will be accorded. In honor of Harry’s wishes, no services will be held. Interment will be at Valley Memorial Park in Spring Valley, at a later date.
