Sterling- Jeffery L. Johnson, Sr. 75, of Sterling, formerly of Walnut, died on Wednesday morning, February 28, 2018 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. He was born on October 31, 1942 in Princeton to Arnold and Shirley (Gallentine) Johnson. He was a chiropractor for 33 years, practicing in Monmouth from 1966-1999. He is survived by his sons, Jeffery (Sara) Johnson, Jr. of Dixon, Greg (Jessica) Johnson of Chillicothe and Rob (Ginger) Johnson of Macomb; his brothers, Gene Johnson of Princeton and Randall Johnson of Bonita Springs, Fla.; and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Visitation will be from 2-4 PM Sunday, March 4 at Garland Funeral Home in Walnut. Cremation will follow. Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 5 at Walnut Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his memory.
