Jerry R. Norden

          Jerry R. Norden, age 90, of Ohio, died Saturday, April 30, 2022 at his home.

          Jerry was born November 9, 1931 in Princeton the son of LeRoy and Bernice (Krieger) Norden.  He was joined by three sisters, Nancy (Stan) Iverson, Ann (Orm) Conner and Alice Lee (Bob) Semlow.  Jerry married Cheryl Johnson on March 31, 1951.  Together they had four children,Wayne (Joni Weir) Norden of Houston, Texas, Sharon (Jim) Schnaiter of Princeton, Sue (Mike) Chakos of Chicago and William (Karla) Norden of Walnut.  They have nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren to enjoy.

          They farmed in the Ohio area their entire working time until 1996, retiring to Ohio.  He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Ohio where he served on the church board for many years.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 9:00 – 10:45 AM at the First Lutheran Church in Ohio with the service following at 11:00 AM with Reverend Leo Patterson officiating.  Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Ohio.

          In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the First Lutheran Church in Ohio.

Walnut.
