Jimmy D. Lamkin

OHIO – Jimmy D. Lamkin, age 63, died Sunday, January 21, 2023 at OSF St. Clare Hospital in Princeton.

Jim was born on January 24, 1960 in Princeton the son of Donald Calvin and Helen E. (Johnson) Lamkin.  He was employed with the City of Walnut for several years, later moving to Ohio as the Operator/Supervisor of Municipality Department retiring in 2019.  Jim was active the Moose Lodges both in Princeton and Mendota, as well as N.R.A member. He was involved with the Sauk Trail Gun Shows and enjoyed collecting toys.

Survivors include, one sister, Patti (David) Nelson of Princeton; special brother, Greg (Lori) Wilkinson of Walnut; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Nancy Griffin; one brother, Rex Lamkin.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Private graveside services will be held at Walnut Cemetery, Walnut. Arrangements were completed by the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut.
