Joyce Nally Obituary

OHIO – Joyce K. Nally, age 66, died at home Monday, June 21, 2021.

Joyce was born October 22, 1954 to Walter and Pearl (Hassler) Owens. She married Robert Nally on September 8, 1973.

She became a nurse in 1989 and worked at Franklin Grove nursing home for several years before going to Heritage Health in Walnut in 2000, she was a nurse there until December 2020, when she retired.

Survivors include her husband Robert Nally of Ohio; one daughter, Lisa (Eric) Hansen of Ohio; two sons, Walter (Triscia) Nally of Nachusa and Scot (Jodi) Nally of Walnut; one stepdaughter Michele (Jason) Mickel of San Antonio, Texas; nine grandchildren Cory, Tegan, Christian, Cheyenne, Savannah, Logan, Myles, Ashlynne and Alexander; three step grandchildren, Brent, Emily, and Jessie; six great grandchildren; brother Loren Owens.

She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Pearl (Hassler) Owens, her sister Rita Siddles and granddaughter Nevaeh Nally.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There are no services. Arrangements were completed by the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut.
