Judy Ann Bolz, aged 81, died peacefully October 4, 2021 at Heritage Manor in Walnut, IL surrounded by her family.
Judy was a life-long resident and supporter of Walnut, IL. She was born January 30, 1940 on the farm of her parents, Ivan and Lois Peach. Judy attended Walnut Grade school and High School in the same class as her future husband, John Edward Bolz. She earned a Bachelor's degree in English from Illinois State University. Judy married John on June 1, 1962 in the Walnut United Methodist Church.
After graduating from ISU, Judy enjoyed her career as an English teacher at the Walnut High School for 29 years. She was a proud member of the Walnut United Methodist Women, Walnut Methodist church choir, and Bryant club. She also enjoyed giving piano lessons and accompanying music students. In her spare time, Judy had a passion for reading, traveling, gardening, and visiting with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband John, one son, David (Noimy) Bolz of St. Germain, WI, and one daughter, Wendy (Jeff) Kellermann of Bloomington, IL, three grandchildren, 2 sisters, Jo White, and Jeri VonHolten, and seven nieces.
Funeral services were held privately on October 6, in the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut followed by a private burial service in the Walnut cemetery. A celebration of life will be scheduled in the future. Memorials may be sent to the Walnut Methodist Church music program in memory of Judy Bolz.
