Judy A. Spencer

Judy A. Spencer, 75 of Rock Falls died Wednesday December 27, 2023 at CGH Medical Center, Sterling.

She was born on September 17, 1948 in Sterling the daughter of Clarence E. and Valine Elaine (Stutzke) Jones. She married Gordon Spencer on September 23, 1966 in Prophetstown. He died June 18, 2020. Judy was an excellent cook, and always shared her culinary delights with her family. Judy enjoyed spending time with her friends.

Survivors include her son Thomas (Thomas Wilson) Spencer of Wayne, IL; her sisters: Linda Martin and Alice (Dennis) Vetter both of Sterling; her brother Paul (Rita) Jones of Freeport; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews including special great niece, Mille.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two infant daughters, Linda Jo and Traci.

Private family services will be conducted on Saturday December 30, 2023 at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico. Burial will conclude at Tampico Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Rock River Hospice and Home.
