Larry August DeWaele, 70 of Walnut, died Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at his home. Larry was born on January 6, 1947 in Princeton, the son of Loren and Vivian "Marjorie" (Johnson) DeWaele. He worked for Walnut Custom Homes for many years. Survivors include his sister, Linda Jeandrevin of Ontario, CA; his brother, Darrell (Brenda) DeWaele of Walnut; several aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Walnut Cemetery.
