OHIO – Lois V. Molln, age 94, died Sunday March 31, 2024 at Allure of Walnut.
Lois was born on January 5, 1930 in Sublette the daughter of Fredrick and Leona (Spittler) Rempfer. She married Myron R. Molln on November 20, 1949 in Mendota. He preceded her in death April 10, 2010. Lois was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, was a good baker and loved working in her garden. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Ohio and was active in her church including the Rebecca Circle.
Survivors include one daughter, Janice (Bob) Williams of Van Orin; two sons, David (Ann Cobane) Molln of Ohio and Kevin (Missy) Molln of Toulon; one daughter -in-law, Linda Molln of Walnut; one sister, Mary Horn Michel of Princeton; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, LaVerne Molln, and Gary Molln in infancy, two brothers, Eugene Rempfer and Fritz Rempfer.
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 PM Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the First Lutheran Church in Ohio. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM with Pastors Jeff and Lori Whalen officiating. Burial will follow at Van Orin Repose Cemetery, Van Orin. Arrangements were completed by the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Ohio Fire Department, First Lutheran Church of Ohio and Bache Chapel.
