OHIO, IL – Mary Kay Johnson, 60 of Ohio, died Sunday January 24, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born on December 8, 1960 in Spring Valley, and was the daughter of Tom and Maxine Piper. She married Casey W. Johnson on June 15, 1985 in Princeton. Mary worked for 44 years at the Bureau Valley Veterinary Clinic in Princeton as office manager. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton and had enjoyed spending quality time with her granddaughter Harper.
Survivors include her husband Casey; her daughters: Erin Johnson (Spencer Yates) of Manlius and Jo Ellen Johnson of Pembroke, KY; her parents Maxine (Tom) Piper of Silvis, IL; her sister Leslie Piper of Silvis, IL; her brothers: Marco Pizzamiglio of Dover, IL and Ron Piper of Manlius; and her granddaughter Harper Yates.
She was preceded in death by her birth father Marco Pizzamiglio and one brother Michael Piper.
Visitation will be held on Friday January 29, 2021 from 8 – 10 AM at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut. Followed by the Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton, with the Reverend Timothy Hepner officiating.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in her memory.
