Nelson Wayne Hostetler

Nelson Wayne Hostetler, 55 years, 19 days peacefully passed away July 1, 2025 at his home in Tampico, IL.

Nelson was born on June 12, 1970 in Morrison, IL the son of Wayne and Barbara (Headings) Hostetler. He was united in marriage to Lynette Hostetler on September 8, 1989.

He is survived by Lynette, his beloved wife of over 35 years; three sons: Austin (Gwen) of Clarksville, AR, Cody (Denise) Tampico, IL and Darin of the home; five daughters: Jessica (Raylan Miller) of Montrose, CO, Beverly (Nelson Kropf) of Tampico, IL, Staci (Leland Hostetler) of Tampico, IL, Alaina and Alyssa of the home; 15 grandchildren; four brothers: Edwin (Eileen), Aldine (Clarene), Omar (Bonnie), Steven (Marsha); five sisters: Rose (Myron Hostetler, Twila, Marlene (Cecil Shrock), Rhoda (Troy Schrock), and Charlotte (Chad Hostetler).

He was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Barbara Hostetler; one handicap sons, Jeremy, and one infant granddaughter, Angelina.

Visitation will be held Thursday July 3, 2025 from 6-8 PM and on Friday July 4, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Fairfield Amish Mennonite School, Tampico. The funeral will follow on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Fairfield Amish Mennonite Church, with burial to conclude at Fairfield Amish Mennonite Cemetery.
