Pamela J. Hanich Pamela J. Hanich, age 71, of Manlius, died Monday, November 14, 2016 at her home. Pam was born October 1, 1945 in Sterling the daughter of Paul and Ada (Shaw) Klocke. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1963. Pam married Clare Foy on November 14, 1964. She later married Roger Hanich on November 27, 1982. Pam was previously employed at Harper Wyman, Manlius Clinic and Manlius U.S. Post Office. She was a member of the New Bedford Christian Church. Pam was a master gardener who enjoyed working in her garden. She also enjoyed quilting with her sewing group. She created many heirlooms for her family and friends. She was beloved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Survivors include three children, Michael (Gary Boyer) Foy of Portland, Ore., Michelle (Terry) Carter of Sterling and Marshall (Rebecca) Foy of Tampico; five step children, Dawn (Chris) Hoban of Fort Myers, Fla., Michelle Hanich of Princeton, Keith (Louann) Hanich of Lake in the Hills, Theresa (Efren) Salazar of Spring, Texas and R.J. Hanich of Chicago; seven siblings, Nancy (Peter) Gartner, Janet (John) Wheat, Patrick (Bobbie) Klocke, Michael (Keri) Klocke, Laurie (David) Penfold, Craig Klocke and Paul (Delia) Klocke; three grandchildren, Wesley (Samantha) Foy, Annika Carter and Mack Foy; eight step grandchildren, Steven Carter, Mindy (Mike) Spencer, Megan (Fabian Mendoza) Carter, Eric Mares, Mitchell Mares, Matthew Schlindwein, Ashley (Cory) Armstrong and Ramiro Salazar; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband and her parents. Visitation will be Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 9 - 10:45 AM at the New Bedford Christian Church. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at the church with Reverend Brian Moore officiating. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in rural New Bedford.
