Raymond Wakenight

Raymond Wakenight, 55, of Tampico, died on Monday, May 6, 2024 at his home.

He was born on September 8, 1968, in Sterling, the son of Donald and Rita (Aldous) Wakenight. Raymond enjoyed woodworking, he especially enjoyed refurbishing furniture. He also loved going fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Rita Wakenight of Sterling; five sisters, Sheila (David) Hendrix of Sterling, Donna Wakenight of Sterling, Patty Noble of Walnut, Jennifer Adams of Tampico, JoAnne Wakenight of Tampico; one brother, Donald “D.J.” Wakenight of Deer Grove;  one half-sister, Sonya Alden of Rock Falls.

He is preceded in death by his father; brother-in-law, David Adams

There will be no services at this time. Cremation rites have been accorded.

In lieu of flowers memorials have been established.
