Rita M Lindelof

Rita M. Lindelof, 95, of Tampico, died on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. Rita was born on September 13, 1926 in Deer Grove, the daughter of Harry and Julia (Henrekin) Buxton. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tampcio.

Survivors include one son, Michael Lindelof of Tampico; and one daughter, Nancy Chesney of Princeton; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gail Lindelof; and 2 sisters, Helen Egan, and Mary Sue Dabler.

Visitation will be held at 10:00am on Monday, September 20, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 105 N. Benton St, Tampico. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am with Reverend Richard Russo officiating. Burial will conclude at Greenville Fairfield Cemetery in New Bedford.
