Robert "Rob" Michael Wallace, died Thursday, May 10, 2018 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. Rob was born on November 28, 1955 in Princeton, the son of Loyal and Frances (Downey) Wallace. He married Darlene Wiggim on September 23, 1978 in Princeton. Rob was employed at Heritage Health in Walnut for the past 32 years where he worked as the maintenance manager. He also worked at Manlius Grain and Walnut Farm Equiptment prior to working at Heritage Health. Rob enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a charter member of the Happy Hookers Fishing Club. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family. Survivors include his wife, Darlene; one daughter, Amber (Matthew) Morman of Kenosha, WI; two grandsons, Dylan and Andrew; two sisters, Ann Sprowls of Sheffield and Jean (Clifford) Smith of Princeton; and one brother, Thomas (Judy) Wallace of Port Byron. He was preceded in death by his parents. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 9:00-11:00 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Walnut. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Reverend Thomas Shaw officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial is established in his memory.
