Robert M. Wilson, Jr. Robert M. Wilson, Jr., age 76, of Walnut, died Monday, November 13, 2017, at his home. Bob was born December 10, 1940 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. the son of Robert, Sr. and Juanita (Vincent) Wilson. He married Joan Devine on August 16, 1969 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She preceded him in death on September 15, 2013. Bob was a speech teacher and librarian at Walnut High School for 30 years and was also employed at Avanti Foods for several years. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the Walnut Masonic Lodge #722 since 1965. Bob was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan. Survivors include two sisters, Sheila (Alan) Otten of Altenburg, Mo. and Lori (Dale) Foster of Anna, Mo.; five nieces, Tina Otten, Paula Dorsey, Angie (Roger) Levan, Heather Wright and Kyli Foster; and three nephews, Casey (Beth) Otten, Chad (Tracy) Otten and Sean Foster. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and one brother. Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 2017 from 10 - 11:00 AM at St. John Catholic Church in Walnut. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11:00 AM at the church with Reverend Thomas Shaw officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Cemetery.
