MANLIUS- Ruby M. Hard, 98, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Heritage Health in Walnut.

She was born on August 23, 1917 in Manlius, IL, the daughter of Harry L. and Anna (Anderson) Carlson. She married C. Edward Hard on July 13, 1940 in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death. Ruby was a member of the Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Manlius.

Survivors include two sons: Ronald E. (Linda) Hard of Wyanett ant Myron (Barb) Hard of Princeton; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and her brother Cecil "Cec" Carlson and her infant daughter, Elaine.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 10 AM at Manlius Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Garland Funeral Home in Walnut.

Memorials may be made in her memory to Heritage Health (Walnut Manor) or Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church.
