Ryan L. Hicks, 48, of Peoria, Illinois, passed away on December 23, 2023 at his home in Peoria.  Ryan was born on October 03, 1975 to Ronald Hicks and Debra (Sarver) Andrew.  Ryan was married to Brianna (Bottles) Hicks on March 27, 2023.

Ryan is survived by his wife; his parents, Michael and Debra Andrew, Terry Habberfield; his children including Jacob VanWassenhove, Isaac Hicks, Tiffaney Vanous, Jarik Hicks and Dylan Hicks.  He is also survived by his sisters, Renelle Hicks (Mike Bourquin), Rachelle (Vicki) Hicks, MaryLu (Clinton) Holmes, his grandparents Harvey and Nancy Andrew and several uncles, aunts, nephews and cousins. 

Ryan was preceded in death by his father, and both paternal and maternal grandparents – Roy and Mary (Dimmig) Hicks, Everett (Ozzie) and Mary (Headspeth) Sarver.

Ryan graduated from Walnut High School.  He currently ran his own business, Ryan’s Painting and Construction in Peoria.  Ryan loved riding his motorcycle in his free time.

Private family viewing and graveside services will be held on Friday, December 29. 

A memorial has been established.
