Sharon A. Cady, age 71, of Tampico, Illinois died Thursday May 5, 2016 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. Sharon was born on January 16,1945 in Princeton, IL, the daughter of Vernon and Elma (Cryer) Bruder. She was united in marriage to Larry Cady on February 21, 1965 in Tampico, IL. Sharon worked at the Tampico Post Office as a clerk for 34 years and was a member of the Tampico United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Larry Cady of Tampico, IL; three sons David (Mary) Cady of Tampico, IL, Michael (Kimberly) Cady of Tampico, IL , Steve Cady of Sterling, IL; 8 grandchildren, one step granddaughter; two step-great grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters Donna Radake of Tampico, IL, Nancy (George) Tornow of Tampico, IL; one brother Dennis (Dorothy) Bruder of Tampico, IL and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico with the Rev. Leanne Keate, pastor of the Tampico United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico. A memorial has been established. Condolences may be sent to: www.garlandfuneralhome.com.
