Stephen C. "Mouse" Morris, age 60, of Sheffield, Illinois, died Monday, January 11, 2016 at home under hospice care, with long time girlfriend and beloved dogs by his side. Stephen was born January 29, 1955 in Princeton, Illinois the son of Don And Virginia (Watson) Morris. He worked at Wyanet Body Shop for many years. He also was employed as a carpenter at Walt Vervynck and Scotty Imes in Kewanee, Illinois. He loved his garden, Bears and NASCAR. He is survived by his girlfriend, Peggy Underwood; two sons: Mike (Kelly) Morris and Johnny Morris; one step-son, Greg Jensen; one brother, Tim "Mouse" Morris; three grandchildren: Kai, Mazie and Max; one step-granddaughter, Alex; three nieces: Heather, Riley and Olivia and one nephew, Larry. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Larry, Bob, Tony and Tom and one step-daughter, Carrie Jensen. Cremation rites were accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at Sock's Place in Wyanet, Illinois on January 23, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A memorial has been established in his memory to Sheffield Fire and Rescue or to Peggy Underwood for funeral expenses.
