Suzanne Dale Suzanne Dale, age 86 of Ohio, died Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Heritage Health in Walnut. Suzanne was born on May 9, 1930 in Walnut, the daughter of Harry and Dorothy (Williams) Andersen. She married Robert Dale on September 11, 1949 at the First Christian Church in Walnut. Suzanne worked for several years at Avanti Foods and later because of her love for reading, she worked as a librarian at the Ohio Public Library. One of Suzanne's favorite things to do was to go dancing with her husband. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Walnut. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Robert; one daughter, Barbara (Ronald) Von Holten of Walnut; four sons, James (Joyce) Dale of Amboy, William (Janelle) Dale of Geneseo, Joe (Chema) Dale of Arlington, VA and Thomas (Nancy) Dale of Geneseo; ten grandchildren, Matthew, Joelle, Michael, Timothy, Kimberly, Thomas, Ilyas, Dileyli, Dylan and Megan and thirteen great grandchildren, Joshua, Keiyana, Lia, Natasha, Samantha, Johnathon, Talon, Kaleah, Kaden, Huck, Sophia, Kayden and Jaron. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Ronald Dale; one brother, Donald Andersen and one sister, Phyllis O'Dell. Visitation will be Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 3:00-6:00 P.M. at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut. Funeral service will be Monday, July 25, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Reverend Brian Moore, officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's disease Foundation or First Christian Church in Walnut.
