Princeton, IL Tracy J. DeWaele, age 52, of Princeton, IL died Saturday September 5, 2015 at her home.
Tracy was born on September 28, 1962 in Princeton, IL; the daughter of Donald G. and Joyce A. (Martin) Sergeant. She was a secretary at Winter Sports in Ohio, and also worked at Peerless Level in Walnut, Amboy Nursing Home, the Dairy Queen in Amboy and Beggs Grocery store in Amboy. Tracy volunteered for Amboy ESDA for many years. She was a member of the New Hope Church of the Nazarene in Princeton, IL.
She is survived by one son Joshua DeWaele of Amboy, IL; her father Donald Sergeant of Walnut, IL; two sisters Terry (Norm) Vandermoon of Princeton, IL, Tammy Chamberlain of Walnut, IL; one brother Jim Sergeant of Princeton, IL; several nephews ; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and mother.
Cremation rites were accorded. Burial of cremains will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Princeton. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Princeton High Rise 444 S Church St. Princeton, IL. A memorial has been established to an Educational Fund for Joshua DeWaele.
