Wayne B. Bryan

Wayne B. Bryan, 97 of Tampico died Friday April 25, 2025 at his home.

He was born on December 2, 1927 in Kewanee, the son of Ernest and Mary (Boyd) Bryan and had severed in the US Navy during WW II. He married Doris E. Bumphrey in July 1948. She died November 13, 2018. Wayne had worked at Penberthy in Prophetstown for 41 years before retiring. He had enjoyed hunting, building and restoring things, antique engines and riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include his son Robert Bryan of Tampico; his daughter Ruth Sturtevant of Milledgeville; a half-sister; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his daughter Jacqueline Jaquet; two brothers: Warren and Marion;  his son Michael Bryan and grand daughter Kelly Jaquet.

Visitation will be Thursday May 1, 2025 from 10 -11 AM at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico, followed by the funeral at 11 AM. Burial with military honors will conclude at Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
